This policy explains how Humainly uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let the site work properly, remember your choices, and help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
How we use them
We keep our use of cookies to what is genuinely useful, and we do not sell your data. You are in control: essential cookies always run, and everything else stays off until you turn it on. Nothing in the Analytics or Marketing categories loads before you choose.
- Essential. Needed for the site to work, such as security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off. We store your choice in your browser under
hm-cookie-consent, and a first-party record of how you reached us so we can attribute an enquiry you send us. - Analytics. Help us see how the site is used, in aggregate, so we can make it better. We use PostHog (EU hosting) and Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager. Google Consent Mode is applied, so Google tags run in a restricted mode until you allow this category.
- Marketing. Let us measure and improve the campaigns that bring people to Humainly. This category covers the Meta, LinkedIn and Google Ads measurement tags, session replay in PostHog, and a business identification service that estimates the organisation a visit came from using its IP address. All of it stays off unless you allow this category.
Managing your choices
You chose your preferences when you first arrived, and you can change them whenever you like. Your choice is stored on your device and applied on your next visit.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
Third parties
Some cookies are set by the providers we use to run the site: Vercel for hosting, PostHog and Google for analytics, and Meta, LinkedIn and Google for advertising measurement. Each is only enabled when you allow the matching category above, and each is bound by a data processing agreement with us. Our privacy policy lists every provider and what they do with the data.
